10 Spring Hair Trends That Need To Be On Your Radar

From “it girl” cropped cuts to ’90s blowouts.

With the weather warming up, the pressure to revamp your hairstyle may wear you down. After a winter of staying indoors, we could all use a new hairstyle or hair color that helps us put our best foot forward and own the beautiful spring sunshine awaiting us.

Short hair is the reason for the season, as told by Pinterest’s 2025 predictions. Since the start of 2025, we’re noticing that A-listers such as Hailey Bieber and Zendaya are going for edgier bobs and some of our favorite celebrities are opting for cropped cuts. In addition, we’re seeing that laid-back styles, unfussy updos, buns, and messy twists are becoming reliable go-tos, leading hair enthusiasts to find even more experimental ways to elevate these styles.

Of course, we all know that there isn’t one trend to follow, especially on the beauty front. Thanks to Pinterest (and our expertise), we’re rounding up the 10 spring hair trends that will rule all season long.

90’s Power Blowout

’90s blowouts are universally appealing. It’s one hairstyle that we can’t get enough of because of the sheer versatility this style holds. Known as the “supermodel hair,” one flick of a good blow dryer (preferably a Dyson) and you’ll be ready to go.

Vintage Beyoncé Blonde

Remember Beyoncé in her Austin Powers era? Her blonde was pinned on our mental moodboards. Her hair wasn’t icy platinum or filled with her usual root-to-ends highlights but a direct golden blonde. This type of blonde suits all skin tones and hues.

Sleek Ends

Going for a sleek option is always a great idea. There’s nothing more alluring than an edgy look that glistens with movement.

Mermaid frenzy is will. From beachy body waves to XXL locs, we’re ready to exit the ocean and walk the runway.

“Crop Top” Cuts

A chic shortcut just oozes confidence and “it girl” vibes. For 2025, we’re seeing chops get shorter and more square, leading with what we’re dubbing the “crop top” cut.

Updo-Boo

On those warmer spring days, the last thing you want to be bothered with is your hair. One style that will always have your back is any form of a swept-away bun. From a neat ballerina bun to a messy low or top-knot, the options are endless.

Redhead

Yes, the red hair is still going strong, but we’re seeing trends lean towards more of a copper version. If you’re into this style, follow the likes of Dua Lipa and switch things up.

Goddess Waves

Goddess waves are big on the menu for spring (and if we’re honest, for the rest of the year). This style is ethereal and versatile, working on shorter or longer hair.

Jellyfish Cut

The jellyfish cut is making waves, quite literally. With its bi-level layers and soft yet structured shape, it’s ideal if you’re looking for a big hair switch-up.

Supernatural Strands

Yes, the super long hair obsession isn’t going anywhere but it’s getting sleeker, shinier and more dramatic — think middle parts, glass finishes and lengths that hit your hips.
