Here's Everything We Know About Karol G's Netflix Documentary

From ditching the pink hair to girl time with Becky G, the documentary delivers an inside look.

Netflix and Karol G prepare to release their new documentary Karol G: Tomorrow was Beautiful. Here’s everything we know about the film.

Known playfully as La Bichota, aka the boss, Karol G’s journey is a lesson in never thinking small. “It’s no secret that it’s rare to see a woman singing reggaeton,” the official trailer opens. Yet, the star has risen to an international star and the first-ever Latina to headline a global stadium tour.

For those wondering, the name was intentional. The Mañana Será Bonito Tour translates to Tomorrow Was Beautiful. The documentary follows her fanbase throughout her challenging journey to stardom and its name is a sign of hope.

The documentary features strong celebrity cameos from Karol G’s community, such as boyfriend and Colombian singer, Feid. Elsewhere in the film, Mexican-American singer Becky G makes an appearance as she supports her friend.

Ushering in her new era, the Colombian singer ditches her pink hair for her natural brown hair color. “I wanted to be my most natural, authentic and genuine self,” she told Today.

Watch the trailer below and stay tuned for the Netflix premiere on May 8.
