Oceanus Is Back With a Glitzy New Take on Marine Life
Merging sea-inspired swimwear, natural landscapes and… llamas?
Oceanus, aka the glitziest label ever, is back with a new collection, expanding its ready-to-wear and swimwear offering for another season. Dubbed “Palm Reverie,” the new drop features a range of new, nature-inspired silhouettes that evolve the brand’s artisanal design ethos.
Taking inspiration from the beauty of marine life, designer and founder Hannah Attalah looked to the depths of the ocean as her muse this season, resulting in a series of unique, hand-applied embellishments. Featuring figure-hugging mini dresses and glitzy swimsuits, each piece is designed to catch the light in the dreamiest way, merging high fashion with the beauty of the sea.
To celebrate the launch, photographer Tim Kasper captured the collection against the sun-drenched scapes of Palm Springs. Offering a contrasting look at the glitzy collection, models were pictured with natural backdrops and animals, celebrating juxtaposing themes of land and sea, calmness and vibrancy and stillness and movement.
