MAC's New "Lipglass" Is Famous by Association — Just Like Amelia Gray

The brand is tapping the “Airess” and her mother, Lisa Rinna, for a campaign that centers the “nepo baby.”

Mac Cosmetics‘ new “Lipglass Air” Non-Sticky Gloss is getting a dose of heiress energy, with model Amelia Gray fronting the brand’s new Mother’s Day campaign. A modern take on a cult classic, fashion‘s favorite “nepo baby” stars in the “Born Famous” campaign, wearing a Paris Hilton-inspired tank that reads “Stop Being Sticky” — a playful nod to the iconic “Stop Being Desperate” tee that once ruled paparazzi shots plastered across tabloids in the early aughts.

“For the arrival of the new ‘Lipglass Air,’ we wanted to flip the nepo baby conversation on its head – and use it to fuel something bold, unexpected and uniquely MAC,” Aida Moudachirou-Rebois, SVP and Global General Manager of MAC Cosmetics, said in a press statement. “By placing this icon at the heart of the discourse, we’ve built a social-first campaign designed to cut through the noise and drive cultural chaos.”

Joining Gray and her mother, Lisa Rinna, in the promotion of MAC’s own soon-to-be “nepo baby” are Zaya Wade, daughter of basketball star Dwayne Wade and Francesca Scorsese, daughter of legendary film director Martin Scorsese.

The “Lipglass Air” Non-Sticky Gloss provides lips with eight hours of hydration and feels light on the lips. Its shade range includes “Zephyr,” “Opal,” “Behaved,” “Snobbish,” “Spritz,” “Instinct,” “Casual,” “Talented,” “Aesthetic” and “Quality.” The plumping gloss features a shiny finish without the sticky mess, almost mimicking the look of glass.

The MAC Cosmetics “Lipglass Air” Non-Sticky Gloss retails for $25 USD and is available on the brand’s website.
